Pubs and Publications is a blog designed to capture the wide range of experiences encountered while doing a PhD, as well as to create a community where we can share ideas, problems and recommendations.  We cover a vast array of topics, from conference reviews to research tips, from how to go about applying for funding to how to negotiate a scholarly debate after a bottle of wine. By addressing the good, the bad and the ugly we hope to provide useful advice, thought-provoking debates, and funny anecdotes.

Our posts come from both “Pubs and Pubs” committee members and from guest contributions. If you are interested in writing a guest post, or just have an idea you would like to see discussed, please head to our Call for Contributions page to get involved or email our editors at pubsandpublications@gmail.com.

We promise to be honest, instructive, and (hopefully) funny.  We hope you like it.
